Welcome to Picherthis.com, a blog about professional photography in the digital era. Here you’ll find photography tips, tools and how-to’s. I’m Rudy Lopez, the owner of Curb Appeal Photography, where I specialize in high-end digital real estate photography around Denver, CO and the Front Range. I’ve been a professional photographer since 2003, however I’ve been shooting since I was a child. Although I spend most of my time photographing architecture I’m passionate about all aspects of photography.

In addition to photography, I’m an avid fly fisherman. The connection to nature and soul is complete when standing hip deep in a freezing river for 6 hours. I also love to travel, and have been fortunate to visit South Africa twice, as well as London and Amsterdam. I love playing disc golf when I should probably be editing photos, and I have been playing the guitar for 15 years (with limited, albeit satisfying, success). I’m passionate about food, cooking and videography and show my video recipes at The Food Nerd.
Why Picherthis.com?
As an avid photographer, artist, fisherman, traveler, Mac-head, chef, fountain of useless trivia, father, and peasant philosopher, it would be a shame not to share my vast knowledge with everyone. Whether they want it or not. Joking aside, this blog is information I gathered on topics I had difficulty researching, as well as other purely self indulgent, self serving posts.
